Authenticity: Be genuine. Use your real photos, represent yourself honestly, and engage with sincere intentions.
Safety: Prioritize personal and community well-being. Report suspicious behavior and look out for fellow Tampa residents.
Inclusivity: Tampa Chat welcomes adults of all backgrounds. Discrimination or harassment of any kind is not tolerated.

The following are strictly forbidden on Tampa Chat and will result in account removal:
Harassment and Abuse: Targeting individuals with threatening, degrading, or intimidating language is prohibited. This includes hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
Explicit Sexual Content: Tampa Chat is for friendly conversation and meaningful connections, not explicit encounters. Do not share sexually explicit photos, videos, or messages. Keep conversations respectful and appropriate.
Violence and Harm: Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activities violates our guidelines. This includes threats, glorification of violence, or encouragement of harmful behavior.
Spam and Commercial Activity: Do not use Tampa Chat for advertising, promoting business ventures, or sending unsolicited commercial messages. The platform is for personal connections, not business solicitation.
Impersonation: Do not pretend to be someone else. Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting yourself violates our terms and undermines trust.
Underage Use: Tampa Chat is exclusively for adults 18+. Accounts belonging to or representing minors will be permanently banned.
Illegal Activities: Any discussion or promotion of illegal activities is grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to authorities.
Privacy Violations: Do not share private information about others without consent—this includes home addresses, phone numbers, workplace details, or private photos.
All shared content (photos, messages, profile information) should align with our community values:
Photos must be of yourself—not landscapes, memes, or copyrighted material. Profile pictures should be appropriate for a general audience.
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, report it immediately through Tampa Chat's reporting tools. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly and takes appropriate action.
How to report: Use the "Report" button on user profiles or within conversations. Select the reason for reporting and provide any additional context. Reports are confidential—the reported user will not know who reported them.
What happens after reporting: Our team investigates within 24-48 hours. Depending on severity, actions include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Serious violations result in immediate removal.
False reporting: Filing false reports to harass others is itself a violation and may result in account termination.
Tampa Chat employs a graduated enforcement approach:
First violation: Usually results in a warning and explanation of the violation, unless the offense is severe (harassment, explicit content, illegal activity), which warrants immediate removal.
Repeated violations: Continued disregard for guidelines leads to longer suspensions or permanent bans.
Severe violations: Certain behaviors—such as threats of violence, sharing explicit content involving minors, or scamming—result in immediate permanent bans without warning.
Banned users cannot create new accounts. We maintain a banned-user database to prevent banned individuals from rejoining.
If your account is suspended or banned, you'll receive notification explaining the reason. For temporary suspensions, your account will be reinstated automatically after the specified period.
If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may contact our support team with relevant information. We review appeals carefully but maintain final discretion over enforcement decisions.
Tampa Chat is exclusively for adults 18 and older. By using our service, you confirm you are at least 18 years old. We may request age verification if concerns arise. Accounts belonging to minors will be removed immediately.
